Meta start labeling "Made with ai" content in May 2024

Meta the parent company of Facebook is going to introduce a badge called “ made with AI” for a wide range of video audio and image

The update is going to roll out in May 2024, meta will label the content based on detected AI indicators.

There will be a user acknowledgment while uploading Any type of AI generator content which will be badged with “ made with AI”.

If a user uploads any type of false or altered content then it will be labeled with Made with ai content

This decision was taken because of a various manipulated video available on the meta platform involving various prominent faces

The Oversight Board recommended a policy to meta for manipulated media to take strict action on content made with ai

The company has decided to extend the labeling for various types of content available on meta platforms

Meta is also planning to add more labels on their platform like digitally created or altered content to differentiate the content
